Roshan, Lars and his friends who have
been supporting Roshan Friends project
visited the site of Chepang Gaun from
15th October to 18th Oct 2007. The tour
was basically to visit the project site
and how it was functioning.
- Lars has taken initiative to make a
new water project, which would be done
by….the end of January 2008. Lars has
donates 6000 DKR for it. This water
project will help the villages and
school kids to have the nearest water
source.
-During the visit, our team had
distributed medicine in the school.

 Chepang Gaun School: This school
is running up to grade 5 and the numbers
of students have increased to 68. Among
the students, there are 65% males and
35% females. There are two teachers. We
have been supporting 12 kids from the
same village who have passed their grade
5 and pursuing higher education in the
other school.
Shangrila Village School: We have
been supporting this school since our
establishment, the schools have grown
big. Now it has almost 365 students.
Grown up education initiatives
We first started this kinds of education
in Gorkha during 2000 and it was
successful. It’s still running well.
After that we started in Chepang Gaun
which is now functioning well and the
number of grown up educated old people
have increased.
